Michael Frisch

Urban planning academic who came to Kansas City in 2002 to start the Urban Planning + Design program at UMKC. I grew up in New Lebanon, NY -- a small town on the New York / Massachusetts State Line. I am an advocate of non-violent direct action to create change and I was an active member of ACT UP/NY from 1987 to 1992. I love maps, cities, synth-pop, and reading.
